Guided tours by coach
Your group and our guide meet up on the square opposite the city hall, next to the statue of the Burghers of Calais. These two monuments will be commented outside the coach. We then return to the coach to pass through the district of Calais-Nord. This is the location of Vauban’s Citadel, Tour du Guet and the church of Notre Dame. We then drive past the lighthouse and the port of Calais, where the intense activity, particulary in connection with Britain, will be explained. After passing along the seafront, we visit the surroundings of the Channel Tunnel installations before returning to Calais via Fort Nieulay, a fortified sluice complex designed by Vauban. Our visit ends in the district of Saint-Pierre (the historic centre of the lace industry in Calais), where the Theatre is located.

Guided walks
Your group and our guide meet up on the square opposite the city hall, next to the statue of the Burghers of Calais. We then walk through the district of Calais Nord, where Vauban’s Citadel, Tour du Guet, and the church of Notre Dame are located. We continue our tour with a visit to the port, where the intense activity will be explained before we return to our starting point.
