Located just a few steps away from the sea in a former gravel pit in the commune of Blériot-Sangatte, the yacht club is the most recent leisure facility of the “Cap Calaisis” conurbation community.

The yacht club comprises a water surface of 25 hectares (61.78 acres) flanked by a 2.3km-long footpath, and a building which is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape, where nature reigns supreme. The whole reception area overlooks the dune paths of the Parc naturel régional des Caps et Marais d’Opale. A huge terrace, from where you can admire Cap Blanc Nez and the natural site of Les Noires Mottes, rises above the water surface. In this rural landscape and these hills, a windmill and wind turbines bear testimony to technological progress.

This aesthetically and functionally successful tourism and sports facility is a exemplary project of sustainable development,  thanks to the use of solar panels, rainwater collection, and innovative and eco-friendly building materials.

The “Tom Souville” yacht club receives young and old, groups and families, bands of friends and seminar-goers in the best conditions for sports activities or professional meetings.  Numerous amenities are put at the disposal of public institutions, companies, works councils, associations and clubs to organise their events. A professional team is available to receive you and to turn your stay into an exceptional experience!

• Educational rooms (5 modules): € 50 a day per module, € 150 a day for all modules.

• Club house: € 150 a day.

• Restaurant : € 200 a day.

Prices are higher for people from outside the “Communauté”.

If you feel like taking to the water, the Yacht Club du Calaisis sailing school allows you to learn to sail a dinghy (Optimist, Topper, Laser) or catamaran (new Cat, Tyka, Funboat), or to windsurf, or improve your skills under the supervision of a certified instructor, together with a group of enthusiasts with the same objectives (recreation or competition).

Autonomous members can sail their dinghy or catamaran, or windsurf freely under supervision. Access to the water is subject to prior authorisation by a qualified technical supervisor, however.
